American composer Henry Brant died Saturday, April 26, at his home in Santa Barbara, California. He was 94. There are links here to Henry Brant and his music.

Hourglass Group in association with Yamaha Pianos and Other Minds presented Antheil's Legacy, a tribute to composer George Antheil, curated by Charles Amirkhanian and featuring the NYC Premiere of Antheil's 1924 composition Ballet Mécanique performed by LEMUR: League of Electronic Musical Urban Robots, with a rare screening of the recently restored film of the same name by Fernand Léger and Dudley Murphy. June 7, 2008 • 8:00pm following the 8pm benefit performance of FREQUENCY HOPPING.
